Main features of the Ledlenser H7R.2 headlamp
- Front white LED adjustable in intensity (high, medium, low) and focus (wide short range or focused long range). Everything from the front of the front.
- Rear red light to make you visible to others. The rear button that lights up with red light is also a multifunction knob to gradually regulate the intensity of the white light and to access the strobe mode.

- Mixed power supply. It runs on the built-in rechargeable battery in the purchase package or can run on 4 AAA batteries. Performance will vary a little depending on which power source you use, the best option is the rechargeable battery.
- You can choose between Direct Current mode where the light beam remains fixed and stable; or choose the Energy Saving mode where the white LED adjusts the intensity according to the ambient lighting.
- It has a built-in internal temperature control system to protect you from burns and protect the LED from overheating.
- The Ledlenser H7R.2 headlamp has a tilt system that allows you to adjust the angle of the light according to your needs. This is especially useful for directing light downward when you need to illuminate nearby objects or work on activities that require precision.

How to use – Ledlenser H7R.2 Tutorial
- The H7R.2 has two buttons, one in front of the focus and one in the back that is also a multi-function rotary wheel. The front one is used to turn on/off and change between Programs and Functions; The multi-function wheel is for adjusting brightness and switching modes.
- On the white LED there is a rotating wheel that is used to change the light beam gradually, changing between a wider or more focused beam as needed. Take it with two fingers and adjust it to your preference.
- White Light Program: in this Program you have 3 Modes, which are Simple Dim, Simple Powerful and Signal. Each Mode has a lighting range, that is, a minimum and maximum limit:
- Mode 1 – Simple Dim: While off, press and hold the rear multifunction wheel until the front light flashes ONE time. With the front button on the spotlight you will turn the light on with one click and with another click you will turn it off.
- Mode 2 – Simple Powerful: While off, press and hold the rear multifunction wheel until the front light flashes TWO times. With the front button on the spotlight you will turn the light on with one click and with another click you will turn it off.
- Mode 3 – Signal: While off, press and hold the rear multifunction wheel until the front light flashes THREE times. With the front button on the spotlight you will turn on the strobe effect (blinking) and with another click you will turn it off.
- Mode 4 – Full Power: From any state, press and hold the front button for 2 seconds. It lasts a few seconds and then it will return to the previous mode.
- In Modes 1 and 2, rotating the rear rotating wheel will increase or decrease the lighting power; In Mode 3 the rotary wheel will change the flashing speed.
- Power modes: you can choose between Energy Saving or Constant Current. In Energy Saving, the white LED will adjust its intensity in real time according to the ambient lighting. In Constant Current it will emit a fixed and stable light flow. To switch between both modes you must press the rotary wheel 8 times and hold down the eighth click for 4 seconds. In Constant Current mode the white light turns off suddenly, in Energy Saving Mode the white light turns off gradually fading.
- Carry Lock: With the headlamp off, press and hold the front button for 5 seconds to activate the lock. To unlock, hold down for 5 seconds.

What do users think of the Ledlenser H7R.2?
Opinion 4/5 ⭐
I was looking for a headlamp that would last for years and I think this could be a good candidate.
The battery lasts a long time for the use I give it, and the luminosity is very good and wide, it has several light modes and a small rear light for the night. Very happy with the purchase.
Opinion 4/5 ⭐
Very good power and lighting quality. Comfortable to wear and adjust on the go once you figure out how to do it. Resistant to intensive use. Acceptable weight taking into account its great autonomy of use. Very useful to be able to use AAA batteries as a spare.
User manual and changing light functions very confusing.
It does not come with a transport case and does block light during it.
Opinion 3/5 ⭐
The battery, without taking it to maximum power, does not last too long, about 4 hours, I bought a replacement battery and it is much better. Otherwise, great headlamp.
